Rider is a wonderful dog! He is joyful and loving and just full of himself. He is also 100% terrier. He is constantly guarding us from the deer, squirrels, moles, whatever dares to peek into the yard. So, he is not a quiet dog and he loves to dig (if there is a mole involved) and often sports a muddy beard and socks. So, it will take a special person to either put up with his terrierishness(!), or train him to curb those instincts by replacing them with more acceptable activities. He absolutely must have a fenced yard so he won't chase a squirrel for miles and miles, and he is not a good candidate for apartment or condo living. He loves to G.O. and lives up to his name. He is neutered, got a dental, is HW negative and on prevention. His labs look great! Rider is about 8 years old and weighs about 20 pounds. I love this dog! He is very good in the house and often serves as a pillow for swarms of littles. He is super patient with them. I am not sure how he would do with cats.
