Riddick's Story

Riddick is a relaxed, people and dog-friendly boy who was found as a stray and taken to Lancaster SPCA in June and transferred to HOKAFI when they had air conditioning issues. He has settled here well and is a happy-go-lucky, go-with-the-flow 2 year old guy. For being a Border Collie, he is pretty laid back and does well beside other dogs in the play yard but doesn't run much. He seems to prefer exploring on his own and getting attention from people. He doesn't show interest in toys. He walks well on leash and is gentle with people.

Riddick seems like he would do great in almost any home but adopters would need to understand the Border Collie breed as they usually need to run, herd things around, and chase. He hasn't shown signs of this here but we don't know how he would do with cats and small animals. He did meet three other dogs of a potential adopter and that went well the short time they were together here.

Helen O. Krause Animal Foundation, Inc.
