Rico's Story

Rico is a true gem and you’ll feel muy rico (very rich) if you make him an addition to your family! He’s one of the happiest pups we know-he literally has a bounce in his step! He is small but sturdy and given his super friendly nature we think he’d be a great dog for a family with children of any age. He loves play time in the yard with other dogs of all sizes, but not as much as cuddle time on the couch with staff and volunteers. Rico seems happiest when he’s keeping someone company so he’s the perfect dog for someone who wants a new best pal! He is 8 months old and weighs 12 pounds. He may gain a few more pounds before he's full grown.

This dog is a guest at the Mendocino County Animal Care and Control shelter located at 298 Plant Road in Ukiah, CA. 95482.
