Ricky 's Story
Meet Ricky!

Ricky is a 3 month old mixed breed puppy with a big heart and even bigger paws to grow into! Currently weighing about 25 pounds, this handsome boy is expected to be a large dog when fully grown—likely in the 70–90 pound range. While his exact breed mix is a mystery, one thing is certain: he is absolutely adorable.

Ricky is the definition of a cuddle bug. His favorite place to be? Right on top of his people! He loves soaking up affection and will happily melt into you for snuggles after playtime. He’s also a playful, happy pup who enjoys chew toys and a good game of tug-of-war. Despite his young age, he’s already keeping up with bigger dogs—he especially loves playing with his foster sibling husky and has no fear when it comes to joining in on the fun.

This sweet boy is doing wonderfully with crate training. He willingly goes into his crate, sees it as his safe space, and settles in without much fuss. He sleeps there at night, stays there when no one is home, and even takes breaks there on his own. Ricky is also making great progress with potty training—he’s had a few accidents (as expected for a puppy), but never in his crate!

Ricky is still building his confidence in this big world. He can be a little shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, his playful and affectionate personality really shines. With patience, love, and continued guidance, he is sure to blossom into an amazing companion. He’s right here in NH waiting for you!

He’s a smart boy who is already learning routines and working hard on training. Ricky gets along great with kids, other dogs, and everyone he meets. He truly has all the makings of a wonderful family dog. He is neutered and up to date with vaccines. He will have his health certificate as well.

https://www.livefreerescue.com/adoption-application
