Ricky

Meet Ricky – A Gentle Soul Looking for His Person

Meet Ricky, he’s a 6-year-old boy 21 lb neutered boy. He spent nine months living on the streets of California before ending up at a shelter, where he was placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, he got a second chance and was brought to Oregon to be saved! The shelter listed him as a Chihuahua mix, but his exact mix is a bit of a mystery. Possibly some Terrier or even Lab in him, too!

He's an independent, shy guy who needs someone with patience and a lot of love. He enjoys playing with other dogs (big and small) and gets along well with cats, too! He's looking for someone special who will let him blossom at his own pace. Our mission is to save dogs who have been abandoned, neglected, surrendered, or placed on euthanasia lists, giving them a second chance through compassionate foster care, veterinary treatment, rehabilitation, training, and carefully matched forever homes. We believe every dog deserves the opportunity to heal, be loved, and find a family of their own. Every dog in our program lives in a foster home where we learn about their personality, habits, energy level, and individual needs. Our goal isn't simply to place dogs, it's to create lifelong successful adoptions.

To help ensure every dog finds the right home, we ask all potential adopters to:

Complete an adoption application with veterinary and personal references, and meet the dog before adoption whenever possible.

Adoption Requirements:

Provide a safe, stable, indoor home, have the time, financial ability, and commitment to provide lifelong care. Some dogs may have additional requirements based on their unique needs. These requirements will always be listed in the dog's individual profile to help ensure the best possible match.

Apply to Adopt: https://form.jotform.com/261465065914056

Questions?
