Ricki's Story

Ricki is the last puppy from a litter of 6 rescued from a backyard breeder in Cleveland Texas. These puppies were born outside and didn't get much care or human attention. All Ricki's brothers and sisters have found homes and enjoying wonderful lives at the PNW. This loving and extremely smart pup is still waiting for a good home with a family who help him thrive and love him furever. Ricki is an energetic pup, playing fetch is his favorite thing to do. Ricki loves chasing his ball and can play per hours LOL, but he is also very focused on the ball and wants to make you happy. He knows some commands like "sit" "stay" "lay down" and "leave it". Ricki is very gently pup, at first, he can be a bit shy, but he warms up very quickly and is the most loyal pup ever. He would do best in a house with another kind but playful dog or as the only dog because he loves being around people, especially kids. Lucky Paws Animal Advocates's Adoption Policy

Our adoption process starts with an application. If the family is a good fit for the animal they applied for, we'll contact them over the phone to further discuss further. When the dog/cat is transported, a volunteer/volunteers will make sure the animal arrives in good health and conditions. You will sign the adoption contract in person. We stay in contact with the families to offer any support in the process until the animal is settled in their new home.
