Meet Richard – One of Our Christmas Litter Cuties! <br/><br/>Say hello to Richard, a 10-week-old Beagle/Pit mix (mom is a Beagle, dad is a Pit) who’s ready to find his forever home! Puppies at this age are such a joy because they’re easy to mold, and Richard is already shaping up to be an amazing pup in his foster home.<br/><br/>About Richard:<br/>Friendly with cats, dogs, and people of all ages<br/>Learning the ropes with crate training and potty training<br/>A total snuggle bug—blankets are his favorite place to be<br/>Not a fan of cold winter weather (who can blame him?)<br/><br/>Richard is sweet, social, and full of potential. If you’re looking for a loving companion to grow with your family, this little guy could be the perfect match.<br/><br/>If you are interested in meeting this pet, our process begins by submitting an application on our website midlandcountypitstop.org (be sure the top of the app says MCPS Adoption Application, which is our new app). Once submitted you will get a confirmation email or text saying we received your application.<br/><br/>Apps are processed fully in the order received. <br/><br/>The app process is as follows:<br/>- vet check (current & recent pets must be s/n, UTD on vax, HW tested and on HW Prev at least 6 mo of the yr)<br/>- cats must be triple tested<br/>- background check<br/>- video home chat of you, your family and we've love to meet your current pets as well<br/>- then we set up the meet & greet<br/><br/>All pets are vaccinated to age, s/n (or it's scheduled) and microchipped<br/><br/>Please contact us by text or call 989.948.1096 with any questions you may have.<br/><br/>Dog:<br/>Remember those puppy points:<br/>- All current/recent pets in the home must be spayed/neutered<br/>- All current/recent pets in the home must be UTD on vaccinations, test annually for HW and in HW Preventive regularly <br/>- Adoption cost includes first round of vaccinations, rabies (if of age), spay/neuter and microchip<br/>- Go to midlandcountypitstop.org<br/>Go to applications and click on “I want to adopt”
