Rhodie's Story

Meet Rhodie
Rhodie is a sweet, affectionate boy who absolutely loves his people. His favorite place is right by your side or even better, cuddled up with you soaking in all the love and attention he can get.

As Rhodie settles into his foster home and becomes more comfortable, he's showing that he can sometimes get a little jealous when it comes to sharing his humans with other dogs. He may growl to communicate that he wants some space or attention, so he'll benefit from a home willing to provide structure, boundaries, and continued guidance.

That said, Rhodie does enjoy other dogs and has shown interest in playing with his foster siblings! He doesn't necessarily need to be an only dog, but a proper introduction and a compatible canine friend would be important.

Rhodie is still settling in, and his personality continues to blossom as he feels safe and comfortable. At his core, he's a people-loving cuddle bug looking for a family to call his own.

Could Rhodie be your new best friend?

We carefully screen applications and call for first interviews to determine if a dog is the right fit for the potential adopter. We then move into a meet and greet with the potential adopters and available dog. A second meet day is set up with the other animal in the house to determine the right fit. A home check is then coordinated and then 14 day trial with their new furbaby.
