Rhea's Story
Meet Rhea, a 4-year-old German Shepherd who was found as a stray in Melbourne and has blossomed into a happy, healthy girl ready for her forever home. She’s affectionate, playful, and full of classic shepherd personality—complete with adorable “talking” when she gets excited.

Rhea does best with calm, larger dogs and would do best in a home without small animals or cats due to her prey drive. She can sometimes be reactive on leash and will benefit from continued training to build confidence.

She is housetrained, crate trained for 4–5 hours, and thrives on routine. While she’s made great progress with separation anxiety, she does best with owners who are home often. She enjoys fetch, car rides, and will need a fenced yard to burn off energy.

In the home, Rhea is loving but not overly clingy—she’s happy to relax on the couch or sleep quietly through the night. She may be shy at first but warms up quickly.

Rhea would thrive in a calm, structured home without small children, with adopters committed to continuing her training. She has shown no aggression and is a sweet, well-meaning dog ready to be an incredible companion.

Central Fl

Please visit our website to apply or send us an email inquiry.

We do require an approved application and homecheck to meet any dogs in rescue.
