Reyna's Story
Born around April 2020, Reyna’s story began in Jarretaderas, where she was found after being attacked by other dogs. Thankfully, a kind soul stepped in and got her the care she needed—stitches, rest, and a safe place to heal. She spent a few peaceful weeks with independent rescuer Natalia before arriving at our shelter, where she’s been waiting patiently ever since.
Reyna is the definition of noble. She’s calm, affectionate, and beautifully well-behaved. No drama, no fuss—just quiet companionship and a heart full of love. She walks gently on a leash, gets along well with other dogs, and never picks a fight. Her soft eyes say “thank you,” and her presence brings peace.
She currently lives in an outdoor shelter, so she’ll need a little help with house training. But she’s a quick learner and eager to please. What she truly needs is a home where she can finally exhale—a place where her kindness is returned and her long wait is over.
Reyna may not be the loudest dog in the yard, but she’s the one who’ll stay by your side, day after day, with quiet loyalty and unconditional love.

Reyna can be adopted locally or can fly to her forever home. Flight angels are most common to, but not limited to, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Victoria.

To apply for Reyna or to get more information about her, please fill out an application at www.saltydogrescuebrigade.org and one of our coordinators will be in touch.
