Why choose me?<br/>Update: Today, I saw a different side of Rex. This eight-year-old played with toys, sat for treats, and did whatever I asked of him including posing for pictures behind the Valentine frame. When I first met Rex, he'd been newly surrendered and was missing his family and home. He's settled in at the shelter and is a sweet, good boy. If you're looking for an easy-going senior buddy, come spend some time with Rex!<br/><br/>Rex is a senior fellow who got my attention as I walked by his gate. He wanted to come outside. His former owner said he lived as an outdoor dog, so I guess being in a kennel was new to him. He was friendly and enjoyed some scratches along his back but spent most of his time traveling around the interaction pen. It's sad Rex is here.
