Rex's Story

Rex is a 2-3 year old, 50 lb heart worm negative terrier mix who has been patiently waiting for his forever family since July. This good looking guy walks beautifully on a leash, adores attention, and happily soaks up hugs, kisses, and love from his people. Rex does great with other dogs, meeting them politely before jumping into play mode and having a blast. He's especially enjoyed playing ball with our teen volunteers, so much so that they asked to take him out again the very next week! He also enjoys children and would make a wonderful, affectionate companion. Shelter friends describe Rex as so handsome, and they're right. His future family will be incredibly proud to call him theirs.
