Meet Rex!
This big bulky lump of love is Rex and he is only around 1 year old! Rex was found as a stray in Cleveland, TX with another dog that we took in named Charly. Unfortunately, this is the fate of countless dogs in the area, and a fate that most don't make it out of. You see, Rex and Charly were struggling to survive and keep themselves fed to the point that they had to resort to eating the decomposing carcass of another dog that wasn't so lucky. We were able to get these two out before they succumbed to nature or were hit by a car.
Rex wants nothing more than to be loved and is shy until he gets to know you. We get that he has been through a lot in life! Despite this, Rex has been friends with everyone and everything he has met since coming into his foster home. He especially loves kids! He is working on his leash manners, house/crate training, and basic commands. Rex is being fostered near Des Moines, IA.
Rex is HW negative, UTD on vaccinations, monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped. If interested in adopting Rex, please fill out the adoption application linked below, thank you!

**Since most of our animals are found as strays, we cannot guarantee breed or age. Breed and age are decided based on our experience as well as veterinarian advice.**
**Our adoption fees help cover expenses and fund our program to let us continue to Rescue, Rehab, and Rehome stray and abandoned animals. Thank you so much for considering adoption!**
