Revy's Story

Meet Revy — The BEST Companion!

Revy is a sweet boy and excellent companion. He is a velcro dog and prefers to be with his people. He loves walks both on and off leash as well as games of fetch in the yard. He's also happy to hang around the house and nap nearby wherever you are.

Revy currently is going to work with his foster every day and hangs out in a kennel during the day. He loves coming to work and he loves a predictable routine. Revy's ideal home is one where he can be the only dog and spend lots of time with his people.

He loves meeting and playing with other dogs out and about but doesn't want to live with them. He's great with dog savvy cats. He loves them but is very excited about them and wants to play. However, he will respect them if they demand it.

Revy is deaf and trained with hand signals. He knows sit, down, shake, come, wait. He is extremely food motivated and could easily learn more. He is house trained and crate trained, though sometimes vocalizes in the crate. He walks well on and off leash, does great camping, backpacking, paddleboarding and kayaking, and is happy to sleep with you anywhere including tents, hotels, and campervans. He does great in the car and in dog friendly stores, coffee shops, and patios.

Revy is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines, had recent bloodwork that was all normal, negative fecal, and is currently taking heartworm preventative. He also currently takes fluoxetine for anxiety and does well with it.

Revy requires being the only dog in your home. It is the reason we are rehoming him. He is aggressive/reactive towards another other dog in his home and it isn't safe for them to be together. To be clear, he has never been aggressive or reactive to any other dog, other than the other dog in the home.

If you are not in the Blackfoot, ID area his people are willing to travel to relocate for the right home
.
Foster Location: Blackfoot, ID
Age: 2 years
Breed: Australian Cattle Dog
Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped
Adoption Fee: $25 + microchip registration fee

Interested?
