Meet Revel — Our Dignified Protector Looking for His Person<br/>Located in Rutherfordton, NC<br/>Breed: German Shepherd<br/>Age: 4 years<br/>Size: Large<br/><br/>Revel came to Camp Patriot after being surrendered by an owner going through some major life changes. Before he arrived, he’d spent most of his days confined to a crate — but since coming to CPARS, he’s had plenty of room to run and has settled into his best sanctuary life.<br/><br/>He’s affectionate, curious, dignified, and fiercely loyal, with a playful streak and a protective instinct that comes through once he trusts you. He loves attention and isn’t shy about asking for kisses, but he’s independent enough to be content on his own too.<br/><br/>Revel’s spent plenty of time with our onsite team, including the all-female vet staff who’ve cared for him, and he’s completely at ease with both men and women. He’s done well with teenagers and adults, though younger children should be introduced with supervision. He gets along with his doggy friends here at CPARS, though as with any new dog, a meet-and-greet is recommended.
