Reni (Serenity)'s Story

Meet Reni 🐾

Reni is a beautiful 2-year-old Husky mix with striking blue eyes, an adorable bunny tail, and a story of resilience that will melt your heart.

Reni was rescued in Grant County, Washington, after she, her puppies, and her adult siblings were abandoned. When she came into rescue, she was suffering from severe wounds to her hind end and tail, a dangerously high fever, infection, and a broken tooth. Despite immediate medical care, the infection in her tail was too extensive, and it ultimately had to be amputated. Her broken tooth was also removed, and today she is fully healed and thriving.

Now, Reni is ready to leave her past behind and find the loving family she deserves.

This sweet girl has a goofy, playful personality that shines more every day. It’s clear she never had much of a chance to simply be a puppy in her previous life, and she’s making up for lost time by enjoying every bit of love, comfort, and fun that comes her way. While she has some classic Husky stubbornness, it’s wrapped up in an incredibly submissive and gentle nature.

One of Reni’s favorite things in the world is being close to her people. Despite her size, she is a total baby who would happily climb right into your lap if you let her. Whether she’s leaning against you for pets, following you around the house, or curling up next to you on the couch, Reni loves affection and wants nothing more than to be part of the family.

Reni is currently thriving in a foster home where she:
✔️ Gets along well with other dogs
✔️ Lives peacefully with a cat
✔️ Coexists wonderfully with a toddler
✔️ Enjoys walks, hikes, and outdoor adventures
✔️ Loves cuddling with her people
✔️ Also appreciates a good nap and can be delightfully lazy when the mood strikes

All of Reni’s puppies and siblings have found homes of their own, and now it’s finally her turn.

Reni is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and ready for her forever family. All she needs is someone willing to give her the love and security she’s waited so long to find.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a heart of gold, a playful spirit, and the cutest little bunny tail you’ve ever seen, Reni may be the perfect addition to your family. ❤️

After everything she’s been through, Reni deserves a family of her own—a soft place to land, a lap to curl up on, and people who will love her for the rest of her life.

Apply to meet Reni today and give this special girl the happily-ever-after she’s been waiting for. 🐾💕

Life Advocates for Pets of Grant County Wa
