Renee's Story

Renee is a gentle, easygoing senior Chihuahua who is simply looking for a soft place to land.<br/><br/>She had been fostered for an entire year through another rescue when her foster reached out to us for help after no longer hearing back from them. Wanting to make sure Renee got the care she needed, we stepped in and got her into our vet right away.<br/><br/>Renee has a heart murmur and is now under veterinary care with us. She’s had a full medical workup and is on the medication she needs to stay comfortable and supported.<br/><br/>After connecting with the original rescue, they agreed to transfer ownership, and Renee officially became part of Real Good Rescue on April 10, 2026.<br/><br/>She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and easy to be around. She’s currently living in a home with kids, cats, and other dogs and has integrated well into all of it. She’s not looking for chaos or constant activity, just a steady, loving environment where she can feel safe and cared for.<br/><br/>Renee is the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much, but deserves everything.
