Located in Santa Maria, California. <br/>Santa Barbara county or San Luis Obispo county adoption only<br/><br/>Remy is an affectionate and athletic pup. <br/>She’s a great combination of high energy bursts and cuddly love!<br/>A little bit silly and a lotta bit charming. <br/>The most important thing about Remy is that she genuinely LOVES gentle hugs and kisses from her humans. <br/><br/>She's a friendly girl who loves to make new friends and is currently working on her introductions. <br/>She likes to jump up to greet people. <br/><br/>Remy is very smart and loves positive feedback training! <br/><br/>She loves to play with toys. <br/>She is still learning to wait patiently for her people to pick a toy up and throw it for her. <br/>She may try to beat you to it. <br/><br/>Remy is not possessive of food. <br/><br/>Remy is also obsessed with light reflections on the ceilings and walls, much like a cat with a laser pointer. <br/>She can be impulsive and jump on anything while trying to reach the reflection. <br/>For that reason it’s best to supervise her around anything you don’t want her to accidentally bump into or jump on. <br/><br/>While Remy is great at home with her furry friends, she is sometimes over stimulated by the sight of other dogs/animals while she’s on leashed walks or if she’s on the other side of a barrier(window, fence). <br/><br/>It isn’t every animal she sees but when she does show interest, she pulls enough that she will need a strong handler to guide her through it. <br/>She sometimes sings opera as she’s passing them by. <br/><br/>We recommend play time at home/training at home/car rides to get a pup cup/walks when and where there are less dogs out and about. <br/>She’s great on hikes and leashed beach walks. <br/>She’s not a dog park or dog beach dog. <br/>Too many ill mannered dogs at those places that would not be a good mix with Remy. <br/>She has never been in a fight nor threatened to do such a thing. <br/>She’s just really excitable, and strong. We wouldn’t want her put in an unsafe situation. <br/><br/>We also have the name and number of a great trainer in our area. <br/><br/>Remy is always up for working hard, playing hard, then sleeping hard. <br/><br/>With her fun-loving personality, she's sure to bring joy to your life. <br/><br/>Remy has lived with cats, small dog and a large dog previously, but will need to meet any pets in the home prior to adoption to know if they're a good match. <br/><br/>Remy may be too rambunctious for very small children when she gets her zoomies but she does not have a mean bone in her body.<br/><br/>Remy is a wonderful dog who is looking for a forever home where she can be a beloved member of the family. <br/><br/>For the best chance at determining if Remy is a match for you and your family, we do require 2 or more meet and greets in our home followed by a visit to your home at least once before her adoption is complete. <br/><br/>If Remy is who you've been looking for please fill out the adoption application linked below.<br/><br/>https://form.jotform.com/250085662910152<br/><br/>Adoption fee helps us continue saving dogs and preparing them for their forever homes(spay/neuter, vaccines, training, medical treatment etc.).
