Remy (Bonded. with Hagrid)- Spanish Fork, Utah's Story
Remy is a handsome 7-year-old Dalmatian with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is house-trained, leash-trained with a Gentle Leader, knows several tricks, rides well in the car, and gets along well with other dogs. He is an affectionate, cuddly boy who firmly believes he is a lap dog.

Remy loves playing fetch with larger balls, going for walks, and spending quality time with his people. He is very smart and extremely food-motivated, which may make him a great candidate for positive-reinforcement training. He is also being treated for hypothyroidism with a twice-daily medication that is easily given in his food.

Remy is looking for an adult home without young children, with a fenced yard and people who can give him consistent exercise, enrichment, attention, and continued training. His behavior has become more challenging as his family’s lifestyle changed after having young children, and he has become increasingly reactive around unfamiliar people. Because of his history of taking food from toddlers and his reactivity, his new family will need to be experienced, patient, and committed to careful management and training.

Remy can be shy and standoffish at first, but underneath that is a sweet, affectionate dog who deserves the opportunity to thrive in an environment suited to his needs. Remy and his half-brother Hagrid are a bonded pair and will be adopted together.
