Remy's Story

Remy is such a fun and happy dog, he's not met a person he didn't like, he'll scootch in close for a good pet and then roll over for that belly rub cuddle session!

Mazie's Mission saved him when he landed at the shelter with a broken humerus bone. The vets were able to repair the break, and he spent almost 4 months on restrictions, with leashed potty breaks, crate rest and quiet time in the house. He was so good during that time and now his leash restrictions are removed, and now that he is all healed, he is back to being a regular dog, finally!! His most favorite thing is a tennis ball, and he is good at catching them, then brings them back for more throwing and catching.

He is house trained well! He was perfectly house trained on arrival, and has never once had an accident in the house, wahoo! He is so well behaved that his foster mom has left him out in the house when away and he is perfectly fine to go about his day napping and watching the world go by from his window perch. Pretty good for a 2.5 year old! He is a big fan of stuffed toys and delights in throwing them about and destuffing them but never eats the stuffing, smart guy. He loves to find one to bring to you for some play or maybe you'll toss it like his tennis ball so he can chase after it. He sleeps happily all night long either snuggled into bed or on his own bed, sprawled out.

Remy loves to get in the car and go for rides, a walk, or just happy to play at home. He is really an amazing companion and a well-behaved dog that is going to be loyal to the family who loves him back. He is polite with kids and enjoys the company of other dogs, although he does not have to have dog sibling in his forever home.

Remy is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for his forever home!
