Remo's Story

Meet Remo — the sweetest soul you’ll ever meet.

At about 8 years young and 75 lbs of pure love, Remo is ready to find his happy ending. While we can’t confirm his breed without a DNA test, his looks and personality suggest he may be a Lab mix.

We don’t know much about his past, but what we do know is that he deserves nothing but the absolute best. Currently, he’s living his best life with one of our rescue partners in Texas. While he’s thriving there, we know he’d love to settle into a home of his own.

Remo is eager to please, adores people, and still enjoys running, playing, and doing his signature “tappity dance” whenever food is on the way! He seems to know some basic obedience, is wonderful in his kennel, and has been the perfect house guest. He gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and ages, has done great around children (with slow, supervised introductions), and is a gentleman during car rides. On top of that, he appears to be potty trained and walks well on leash.

This easygoing boy would be happiest with a laid-back family who wants a sweet, loyal companion. A home with a yard would be ideal, but we’re open to considering apartments on a case-by-case basis — the most important thing is that he finds the perfect match.

Health:
Remo is neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on monthly preventatives.

Transport Info:
All of our dogs, including Remo, are currently located in Texas and will be transported to their adopters after placement. The adoption fee includes transport. While our breed labels are educated guesses, we encourage adopters to focus on personality and lifestyle fit rather than breed alone.

MA License #479
