Remi's Story

Meet Remi, a sweet and gentle girl with the softest soul. She may be a little shy at first and probably won't come too close right away, but with a few tossed treats and a little patience, you'll start to see her slowly open up. Beneath her timid personality is the cutest girl ever, just waiting to feel safe and loved. Remi is looking for a calm, understanding home where someone can give her the time she needs to build trust and become your very best buddy. Once she knows you're her person, her quiet love will be so rewarding.

Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society & D.A.W.G's Adoption Policy
Our goal is to find a good match for both the animal and the adopter. In order to help you find the most appropriate pet for your household, we ask you to complete a short survey about your home and lifestyle. We also request that as many members of your family meet the animal as possible. It's important that your new animal is compatible with all the people and animals in your house and we do our best to determine the adoptable animal's ability to adjust to your lifestyle. We evaluate each adoption on a case-by-case basis and may ask prospective adopters to visit us several times to meet with the dog or cat prior to completing the adoption.  Please visit our shelter to find out more about adopting one of our homeless cats or dogs.
