It’s been a long winter! Are you looking for a Rei of sunshine?!?☀️ Rei is ready to shine her way right into your life!<br/><br/>Meet Rei. She is approximately 8 months old, and thought to be a Staffordshire Terrier mix. Rei is basically happiness wrapped up in a short, squatty, perfectly sized 47 pound package. Seriously… she’s the kind of dog that walks into your life and immediately takes over your heart (and your lap… and your personal space… and your face with kisses).<br/><br/>Rei is the full package! She is crate trained, working on house training, and happy to be on a leash- although she needs some more skills. She takes treats gently and is eager to please. Rei is a LOVE BUG through and through. We’re talking kiss kiss kiss kiss and snuggles for days!<br/><br/>She’s friendly with dogs, cats, and kids, though she doesn’t quite realize she’s not a tiny lapdog and may accidentally knock over smaller kiddos in her puppy excitement or give a cat a run for their money. She does lack boundaries and would benefit from positive reinforcement training, like with our friends at Fur Better Fur Worse. <br/><br/>Rei has that special something, you know the kind, the dog that makes you feel things. The one that makes you want to scoop her up, squeeze her tight, and never let go. She brings the sunshine with her wherever she goes.<br/><br/>Rei is spayed, current on vaccines and prevention, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300. To meet Rei, please submit an application at www.k9kindnessrescue.org/adopt. As a reminder, we are not a shelter location and require a scheduled meet and greet.<br/><br/>Adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad Cities. All pets currently in the home must be routinely kept up to date on shots, prevention and fixed to be approved for adoption.
