Reggie's Story

Adopt Reggie!

Reggie (aka Reginald while he was at the shelter) is about 5 years old and weighs 76 lbs. He is dog friendly and such a snuggler! He is affectionate and loves to cuddle. Reggie is super smart and knows sit and high five. He walks great on a leash and doesn't pull, he is simply happy to explore and sniff around. Reggie is great on outings, non-reactive. Reggie loves his squeaky toys and pull ropes the best! He is an active boy, who is taking full advantage of his second chance at life! He would love to have his very own yard. Despite all he has been through, his heart is full of love! With a little guidance, he will be a wonderful loyal companion.

Sadly, Reggie was found tied up on the street, slumped over dejectedly, confused and scared. His picture was heart breaking, as it was shared over and over again on social media. Reggie was brought to the overcrowded city shelter and became at risk for euthanasia. Thanks to an amazing foster, Reggie's life was saved that day. And he is SO grateful. Now this good boy is waiting for his happily ever after. Reggie is fully vetted, neutered, micro chipped, and ready to go home with YOU!

If you can open your heart & home to dear Reggie, please contact AmsterDog by call/text at 917-689-8414 or by email at info@amsterdog.org. Apply to adopt Reggie at AmsterDog.org.

Thanks for caring about a pet in need!
