Reggie's Story

Hi, I'm Reggie!

I'm a 1-year-old, 58-lb Dalmatian/Pit mix looking for my forever home.

Not too long ago, I was living on the streets of Los Angeles, spending my days hanging around the same bush outside an apartment complex. After two weeks on my own, and luckily just before a heat wave, a kind stranger came looking for me with some food. I was a little nervous at first, but as soon as I saw those treats, I knew just what to do: sit!

Since then, I've been settling into my foster home and showing everyone what a sweet, smart, and affectionate guy I am. I'm already housebroken, know some basic commands, and absolutely love to cuddle. My foster mom says my heart-shaped nose is a perfect match for my personality because I've got a whole lot of love to give!

I'm a curious, playful pup who loves getting out and exploring as much as I love following my foster mom around the house. Wherever you are, that's where I want to be! I've already visited the farmers market, and while I can be shy at first, I'm generally pretty easygoing around new experiences. I've even met a neighbor's cat through a screen door without any trouble!

I'm a quick learner, especially when treats are involved, and I'm working on adding some new commands to my repertoire. I still have plenty of playful puppy energy and can get a little excited on walks, so I'll need someone who can help me keep practicing my leash manners.

If you're looking for a smart, loving companion who's equally happy exploring the neighborhood or cuddling up with you at home, I could be the one for you!

Much Love,
Reggie
