Reggie's Story

Meet Reggie – Your Christmas Miracle Puppy!

This handsome 8-month-old mixed pooch has already overcome more in his short life than most dogs ever will. Found roaming the streets of Austin’s Lower East Side, little Reggie was in rough shape—scratches and bite wounds on his ears and head told the story of a scary ordeal (or maybe a run-in with some very unfriendly critters). No microchip, no family to claim him, just a scared puppy who still somehow wagged his tail at every human he met.

Fast-forward a few weeks: his wounds are healing beautifully (the vet says he’ll be good as new soon). He’s now a happy, tail-wagging lovebug who’s fully vaccinated, neutered, and more than ready for his real happily-ever-after.

Reggie is pure puppy joy:

- Incredibly people-friendly—greets everyone with a full-body wiggle
- Great with kids (gentle and playful)
- Dog-social superstar: loves to romp and play with other dogs. He would thrive with a confident, playful older dog sibling to show him the ropes and burn off that puppy energy

Like any 8-month-old, he’s still working on his house manners (potty training is a work-in-progress), but he’s smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn. A consistent routine and a little patience will have him acing “big boy” status in no time.

Reggie has already proven he’s a survivor with a heart of gold. All he wants for Christmas is a soft bed, a family to call his own, and maybe a doggy best friend to zoom around with. Could that family be yours?

If you’ve got room in your heart and home for a resilient, affectionate puppy who will love you fiercely, Reggie is waiting to light up your holidays—and every day after!

If you're interested in adopting Reggie, please fill out an application here: https://forms.gle/dQ9BZC2yext7ohM88

Reggie is located in Austin, TX but his adoption fee includes the cost of transport.
