Reggie

Reggie is a fantastic Mal cross young pup. He was found stray and got kennel cough in the high kill shelter he was in. He was placed on the euthanasia list so we grabbed him. He was fully recovered on arrival. We have had him to the vet for neuter, vaccinations, and overall health check. He has become part of the house hold and has not pot-tied inside ever. He loves to play with people of all ages. He is a puppy so very small children he is a little rambunctious with so I watch him. His play family has kids from 4-11 and they love him.<br/> We have him leash trained and and he also recalls perfectly when off leash. He is scared of livestock and stays clear of large animals. He plays with all sizes of dogs, but I do not have a cat as we are a dog rescue. He doesn't seem to have a high prey drive and being predominantly Mal he is very easy to train<br/> Reggie has a very gentle nature. He is super smart and needs a very light training touch. If he is grabbed he gets terrified. He probably was roughly handled before us so all I do is say a "no" and I have his attention. If I shake a finger he is backing up and figuring out what the heck was wrong. I love that. He is a puppy. He chews toys up and thats what HIS toys are for. Teaching him his stuff from my stuff has been our only learning curve. It really helps to keep him active and have his own supply of toys available.<br/> Reggie would love to learn challenging games and activities. We have acres of running room. He has never shown anything but kindness to people and pups. This boy is just waiting for an adventure with his very own forever family. He will be a loyal kind companion for a long time. Reggie is waiting to meet you. He will be a lifelong loyal family member. Come and meet him, you'll see what a great boy he is.
