Reff's Story

Reff is a handsome male Terrier mix who is still settling in and figuring out his new surroundings. He came to us through no fault of his own — his previous family simply had too many dogs to care for. It’s a big change for him, so he can be a little shy at first, but underneath that uncertainty is a truly loving and gentle companion. Reff has lived indoors with time outside and does a great job letting you know when he needs to go out — he’ll cry to let you know it’s potty time, which makes continuing his routine much easier in a new home. He has experience living with four other female dogs, so he’s familiar with sharing his space with canine friends. Reff has also lived with people of all ages and is described as friendly and playful with children. His previous family shared that one of Reff’s favorite things is simply being petted and loved on. Once he feels comfortable, he really enjoys the attention. He’s also a fan of car rides, which means he’d likely love tagging along for errands or little adventures with his new family. The shelter can be a scary place, but with patience, reassurance, and a loving home, Reff’s sweet personality is sure to shine. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who enjoys affection and would love to be part of your daily life, Reff may be the perfect match for you. Come meet Reff and give this deserving boy the second chance he’s been waiting for.
