Reese's's Story

Meet Reese's – A Sweet & Spunky Treat Just Waiting to Be Unwrapped! Don't let the name fool you—Reese's isn’t just a snack, she’s the whole meal. This 2-year-old mixed breed beauty has been waiting far too long for her forever home, and it’s time she finally got her happy ending. Reese’s is full of energy, personality, and love—she’s the type of dog who plays hard, loves big, and will keep you laughing with her goofy zoomies and expressive face. She’s a strong gal who enjoys rough-and-tumble play, so she’d do best in a home with older kids who can keep up with her fun, bouncy energy. She’s a bit picky about her canine companions (we get it, girl—standards matter!), she prefers to be your one and only pup. A secure fenced yard is a must so she can safely run, play, and show off her Olympic-level fetch skills. Reese's has been with us for quite a while—through no fault of her own—and she’s more than ready to trade in shelter life for couch cuddles, squeaky toys, and a family to call her own. If you’ve got room in your heart (and yard) for a one-of-a-kind companion, come meet Reese’s. She’s sweet, a little nutty, and totally unforgettable. For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30-6 Tuesday – Friday and 10:30 – 4 on Saturday (closed 1-2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month).
