Reese's Story

Available for adoption! Reese is 3 years old and a petite 30 pounds. She's super sweet and equally game for relaxing or playtime. She loves attention and is super friendly with people. Her tail wags on overdrive whenever she meets someone. She's been awesome in a home with 3 kids.

Reese is looking for a home with a fenced yard so she can burn some energy! She gets a bit anxious when she is left home alone and getting to run and play would be helpful for her to settle more easily. She gets along well with most dogs, but does have occasional leash reactivity on walks. She seems to prefer male dogs at times, and especially jibes well with the bigger guys who don't mind her playfulness.

Reese's forever family or person should have time to devote to structure, exercise and attention to this sweet girl . Since she gets a little anxious being home alone, a household where someone is around a lot of the day is preferred. She is very smart, easy to train, and always responds well to consistency.

If you are interested in Reese please email us at almosthome4dogs@yahoo.com!

(Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area [South Jersey and northern Delaware] only.) PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING US! We are NOT a shelter: All of our dogs live in private homes with foster families. Come and meet the Almost Home dogs and their fosters at our Meet & Greet events, where you can learn more about our wonderful dogs from the people who live with them, find out which dogs are on their way and when they’ll arrive, and fill out an application to adopt or foster. For more information on the dangers of electric-shock collars, please visit banshockcollars.ca/studies.php . We do not have an online adoption application; to request an application, e-mail us at AlmostHome4Dogs@yahoo.com. To speed e-mail processing time, be sure to note the name of the dog you are inquiring about in the Subject line.
