Howdy, my name is Reese, a 4-year-old, 11 lb Chihuahua mix, and I was found wandering around San Antonio one evening, in the posh part of town without any identification and toenails a mile long. I was looking for a well-to-do family who could provide me with better care, a nail trim, a bowl of dog food, a cozy bed, and a collar with my name on it when a lady invited me in. My plan had worked and I happily made myself at home until I realized it was only temporary, and someone from 4 Little Paws Rescue stopped by to pick me up. Overall this turned out to be a better plan since I got almost everything I was looking for except just one thing… and this is where you come in… I’m looking for a forever home!

I’m a sweet little guy looking for human contact, love, and security, a lap I can curl up on, kisses to share, and someone I can watch TV with. I have an average amount of energy, not hyper, not lazy, and I am friendly with my little tail wagging. I’m a bit shy with strangers, but nothing that a delicious cookie and a friendly voice won’t cure. I get along with other dogs and enjoy their company, but they are not my interest. I am housebroken, I only bark to alert you, I don't dig or chew on your things, and I don't mind a crate. I sleep in a doggy bed in my crate every night but you know I’d be over the moon happy to be curling up beside you instead. I love going for walks and taking rides in the car. I hear many wonderful families on the East Coast would be happy to have a sweet little dog like me, so I can't wait to meet them and get my life started!
