Reese's Story

Reese was given up by her owners because she was "too timid" for their household. They had her and her sister and decided that they couldn't handle two any more, so they sent Reese to be adopted out. She is a very shy girl and needs to go to a home that will be very patient with her. We are hoping in our foster home, since its a new environment, she will open up a little.
She is mostly housebroken, crate trained, great with other dogs and kids. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all shots. She is in foster care and is ready for adoption at any time.
*UPDATE* Reese has started opening up a little bit, but has decided she does not like her crate. She has managed to escape both wire and plastic kennel. When she gets out, she does not destroy anything, but she does not like being left alone. It definitely is a mild case of separation anxiety. Reese is getting better about not jumping up and getting a bit better at not being scared around other dogs.
Reese is definitely a special girl who needs a special home. She needs to go to someone who knows she has some of her own issues and is willing to work with her to open her up and train her to be the awesome dog we know she is.
She is a VERY smart girl has already picked up on some basic commands such as sit/stay.
