Reed's Story
Please read our Core Values prior to applying, www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations.

Posted 10/14/2023

Reed (72 pounds) and his ex-partner Penny came from a home infested with fleas and mold. Conditions were so bad, in fact, the house in which they lived was condemned just a few days after Reed was removed. Reed and Penny weren't fed on a regular basis and were forced to drink out of a toilet. They were bred over and over and over again and then abandoned by their "owner." Life has not been kind to Reed or Penny, but they are hopeful there are better days ahead. Reed lived with Penny and their puppies. He would be fine as an only dog, but perhaps with some work could live with another dog (likely a female). He cannot live with cats. Reed lived with kids and loves all humans. He loves to hike, ride in a car and is quite a sweat dog. Please consider adopting Reed and giving him a life he has never known.

Reed has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, tested and treated for heartworm/lyme disease and started on monthly preventatives and also tested and treated for intestinal parasites.

Adoption application, home visit and adoption fee required. If you would like to apply for adoption, please complete the online application at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com. Look under ADOPT tab.

Contact generalinfo@furryfriendsnetwork.com for questions or if issues are encountered with the adoption application or general adoption process.

Foster Homes are desperately needed in order to help more animals like this one.
