Update: Red Velvet is spending the holidays in a foster home with a small dog. She ignores the cat in the home. She can be fearful of men but is warming up to the man in her foster home. This beautiful fawn pittie may start off a little reserved, but once you earn her trust, she melts into the softest, most loving girl you could hope to meet.
Red Velvet is trying so hard to connect. You can see it in the way she leans in for affection, the cautious tail wags, and the brave little steps she takes each day. And when she feels safe? That’s when the magic happens. We’ve seen her break into joyful zoomies in the yard, wearing the biggest, happiest smile—her way of saying, “I’m getting there!”
This girl is looking for someone patient, gentle, and kind—someone who understands that trust is a gift and who will give her the time and space to bloom. Once she does, you’ll discover a devoted companion who just wants to love and be loved.
If you’re searching for a tender, soulful dog who will adore you with her whole heart, Red Velvet may be the missing piece in your life. She’s ready to let loose with her person... could that be you?
This little cutie will benefit from a patient adopter with a quiet home who will help her build confidence.
