Red's Story

Red is a cuddly house hippo who is potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, knows basic commands and is a total couch potato! Reds previous owners threatened to dump him in the desert after they found out they were expecting another baby and wouldn't have time for him. We couldn't let that happen and we knew we had to try and find him a better life. He's only had one family his entire life and they completely betrayed him. Now Red is in a loving foster home and is looking for his forever family!

Let's Rescue Dogs's Adoption Policy
The first step in the process is to apply for the dog you are interested in on our website, www.letsrescuedogs.net If approved, you will be contacted via email. You will be required to submit a virtual home check by recording a clear video of where your new pet will eat, sleep, play and your backyard if applicable. If your home check approved, our adoption coordinator will schedule a phone interview to go over any questions and/or concerns you may have and to schedule a day and time for a meet and greet. If the meet and greet goes well you may take the dog home for a 7 day adoption trial. If you feel the dog is still a great fit after the trial, the adoption is finalized by signing the adoption contract and paying the adoption fee which includes the dogs spay/neuter, microchip, and core vaccines. For questions or concerns, please email adoptions@letsrescuedogs.net
