Red is a 1-1.5 yrs old, 40-45lbs pup who is full of energy and life and would thrive in an active home as either a single dog with active people or a home with another playful dog sibling. <br/><br/>Red loves long walks and hikes and all the time he can get with his foster family. Despite his high energy level, he is amazing with the small children in his foster home and respectful to his older dog and cat foster siblings. <br/><br/>Red enjoys playing with his younger dog foster siblings and toys or chasing balls around the yard. <br/><br/>He has a great sense of smell that can lead him into normal hound trouble- like counter surfing. <br/><br/>Red currently lives with cats and after being hissed & swatted at, Res decided it’s better to leave his cat siblings alone.<br/><br/>Red is fully vetted, microchipped, housetrained, crate trained & great in a car and on walks and hikes with his foster family. <br/><br/>If interested in making Red your new adventure buddy, apply at HeroHounds.org/adopt
