HANDSOME and rare "Red" Pittie. Gentle and loving but also active and loves to run and play! We require he have a fenced in yard for this reason. Red would do well as an only pet or with a spayed female as a playmate who has his energy. NO cats, small dogs or small prey (chickens, ducks). <br/>He is sometimes skittish with quick movements or loud unexpected noises but getting much better (interestingly enough, storms don't seem to bother him). <br/>Red spent his short life (approx 2-3 yrs old) at the end of a chain and neglected by his owner, lacking proper nutrition, vet care and the love he craved. His ideal home would be a quieter one where someone is home more often than not, such as someone who works from home, a retired but active person or couple. He craves to be pet and loved and will literally roll over on you to get belly rubs. He will return the favor with lots of kisses. If you like to snuggle up with your pup, this is your guy!!! He will love you like no other!
