Rebecca

Rebecca is a 1.5 year old Chihuahua mix who will need a calm, adult-only home where she is given plenty of patience, kindness, and time to feel safe.<br/><br/>She is a sensitive girl who takes a while to warm up to new people, and she can be especially unsure at first. Rebecca is not comfortable with men and tends to feel more at ease around women. She does best in a gentle, predictable environment where she isn't rushed and can learn at her own pace.<br/><br/>Rebecca really shines when she's with other dogs. She does well with a small group of confident, friendly small dogs, and she would do best in a home with other dogs to help her feel more secure and supported. Having canine companions around her helps her relax and slowly start to come out of her shell, and over time she will begin to quietly observe and check things out on her own.<br/><br/>She is also building confidence on leash and currently prefers to stay right by your side, finding comfort in walking close and sticking with her person.
