Reba - Adoption Pending's Story

Reba is a young adult Cattle Dog with a bright spirit and a heart that’s just beginning to discover how wonderful life can be. She came to us from a hoarding situation where she spent her life outdoors and missed out on many of the everyday experiences most dogs take for granted. Because of that, the world is still a little new to her—but she’s embracing it with enthusiasm and curiosity.

Reba is a people-friendly girl who enjoys spending time with her humans and is eager to learn. She’s doing great with basic obedience and is quickly picking up on “dog things” like walking nicely on leash, exploring new environments, and responding to guidance. One of her favorite activities is going for leashed walks, followed by joyful zoomies where she can stretch her legs and show off her excellent recall.

True to her Cattle Dog roots, Reba is smart, active, and thrives when she has structure and positive reinforcement. She would love a home that continues her training, gives her outlets for her energy, and helps her build confidence as she experiences the comforts of indoor life.

Reba is being fostered in Clark County, Washington.

Reba is spayed, microchipped and has received age-appropriate core vaccines. and her adoption fee is $390.

Please note: We do not do DNA testing on all our foster dogs. The breed description may be our best guess based on the dog’s appearance, mother’s appearance, paperwork, etc.

Our Adoption Process:
- Adoption Application
- Phone Convo
- Meet & Greet
- Home Visit
- Application Approval
- Adoption Fee & Contract

Our adoption application is at pnwcdr.org/adopt
Curious about fostering?
