Reba's Story

**WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES** Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization and all our dogs and puppies are in foster homes - we are not a shelter and do NOT have a facility where we house our dogs. For adoption information go to: www.homewardbounddogrescue.com. You must fill out an application online as we do NOT accept applications at our clinics.

My name is Reba and I am a super sweet playful girl. I can be shy and timid with noises or strange people but I do warm up pretty quick. I’m just over 20 pounds and almost 5 months old. I’m very laid-back and my foster mom feels I have a great temperament. I do love to play with toys, Nyla bones and of course running and jumping in the yard. I do well in the crate when my foster mom leaves the house, working on sleeping alone at night. My foster mom gets me out in the yard as much as she can so we are doing well with potty training. I would be a wonderful addition to your family and can’t wait to meet you.

Our adoption clinics are held one Saturday a month at our facility in Schenectady on John Street, located directly behind Boulevard Bowl (Erie Boulevard) from 10 am to 12 pm (directions are on our website). We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email invitation to attend an adoption event. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates as we are adopting dogs out in between adoption events. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $395. Dogs over 2 years old are $295. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
