Reaux's Story

Reaux is ready for her forever home! Reaux was recently surrendered due to her owner being in poor health. She is understandably confused but very loving. She just wants to be held!
Reaux weighs about 10lbs and appears to be a long hair chihuahua/terrier mix. She has the cutest little underbite too!
She has done well with other dogs and seems to do well in a kennel. She is spayed and has an appointment for the rest of her vetting including vaccines, microchip, heartworm & fecal test, and a good veterinary exam.
Her previous owner reported she thought she was about 8 years old but she appears younger than that based on her teeth.
If you are interested in meeting Reaux please apply at barkingwishesseniorpets.org
#adoptasenior #barkingwishes #rescuedismyfavoritebreed

Barking Wishes Senior Pet Rescue and Sanctuary's Adoption Policy
Applications are reviewed by a director and foster, vet checks are done, home check or virtual home check done, if home is a rental we contact landlords, in depth telephone interview is conducted and a meet and greet with pet is set up. If the adopter advances through all stages of the application process, a director will approve the application and the animal will be transferred to the new adoptive family. The adopter is given a 72 hour window to allow them to return the pet for any reason whatsoever in exchange for a full refund or more suitable pet. Our contract states that after that 72 hour window, we will always take our dogs back into the rescue for any reason and they aren’t to be taken to a shelter or re-homed
