Reagan's Story

Hi, I’m Reagan! I am a happy-go-lucky male, 2-year-old Husky pup that just wants to be with my people. I am housetrained, crate trained, could use some more training on leash, but have a good start on obedience training. Like many huskies, recall is more of a suggestion to me than a requirement, so I should be on leash or long line when not in a well fenced enclosure. I have escaped my yard in the past and was actually at large on my own for nearly six weeks in the high desert of Southeast Idaho. Aiding 2 Adoption swooped in and lured me back into civilization. Because I was surviving on my own, I do tend to have a strong prey drive with small animals. I have been able to interact with calm, dog-savvy cats, so with the right introductions, I could live with cats while supervised. I do get along great with dog friendly female dogs and would love a canine playmate. I also adore children, and will play all day with them, but would be best with older children (8 and up) because I am quite strong and a little rowdy. A 6-foot sturdy fence is going to be necessary to keep me contained so I don’t go on another extended adventure. Please private message Aiding 2 Adoption Rescue directly with questions or to meet me, their Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/aid2adoptionrescue.
