READY TEDDY's Story

Teddy is a sweet boy who would do wonderful as an only dog. He does get along with some dogs, but he is a little selective on who that is. They have to just be a little bit more submissive than being the alpha as Teddy wants to be the alpha. Teddy arrived at ARF from coming from a shelter. It appeared that Teddy may have had an old injury perhaps hit by a car when he was younger. Teddy was taken to our veterinarian, and it was discovered that he really could benefit from having an FHO. More information about that shortly in his bio, but you certainly can ask us about that. Teddy may walk with a limp, but we have done everything we can do to provide him the best care possible. Our best guess is that he’s about five years old and he is a terrier mix, but we are not sure really what he is mixed with. He would be a good candidate if you wanted to have a good laugh to do a DNA testing on.

Teddy’s adoption fee is 225 that will help us cover just a little bit of his neuter and his vaccinations however that doesn’t even come close to what we spent on his surgery. And estimate of his surgery cost will be provided at the time of adoption so that you will see what we spent on him along with a copy of x-rays that were provided to us upon ARF excepting Teddy into our rescue.

Teddy is the perfect size to take a leisurely walk and not trip over him. If you were afraid of tripping over a small dog then Teddy is the dog for you.

At this time ARF does not adopt out of state.

How to Adopt a Dog from ARF
Animal Rescue of Fresno is a Volunteer Managed & Operated Dog Rescue.
We are available by Appointment Only.
Adoptions begin with an Approved Application you can find the application at our website at www.arf-fresno.com

Application can be found in the drop-down menu above, click "ADOPT"
Mobile users click three lines at top of page to see "ADOPT"
Business Hours: By Appointment Only

We will review each submitted application, then contact the approved adopter via email.
