Rizzy Girl. She's a big hunk of love meat waiting for the right home to help her navigate the world!<br/><br/>Razzle was part of a group that came to us in April 2023. Her estimated birthdate is February 2023. <br/><br/>Rizzy is a young dog who is still working on trusting the world around her. She has acclimated to the shelter life well but being here since puppyhood has limited her socialization and so can be a little timid meeting new people. She will be slower to "come around". Even when nervous she never displays anger or negative behaviors. Razzle is more of a flight than fight type of gal. <br/><br/>The best home for this young lady will be one that has time and patience to allow her to adjust, trust and come out of her shell without being pushy. <br/><br/>She is part of playgroup with multiple other dogs but can get snippy over her toys or food. The other dogs (big and small) have always taken her cues and let her be if she gets too over stimulated with them, so we've never had it result in any type of fighting. This being said, it will be important in a new home to slowly acclimate her with new pets to avoid potential scuffles as everyone learns their place and the new routines. With the right guidance she will thrive well with other dogs in the home as she very much does not like to be by herself. She always prefers to be in group play or in the other dog's kennels with them (for safety purposes this is never allowed but that doesn't stop her from trying every time). She is completely unbothered by cats and shows practically no interest in them. I don't think they excite her enough to really warrant any attention from her. She is great with kids and is very treat motivated so continued work and training at home shouldn't be overly difficult.<br/><br/>In a nutshell, Razzle will probably want to keep distance in the beginning as she does with new people but with time and patience there is no doubt in my mind that she won't acclimate beautifully. <br/><br/>All of our dogs are fully vetted prior to adoption. This includes spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing, rabies and parvo combo vaccines, deworming, current heartworm and flea and tick prevention.
