Rayo is an active boy who would love a large fenced in yard and would love an active owner. He is wonderful with people, but selective with dogs and would do best as the only pet. Original post Critical Situation!! 55 Sled Dogs at Risk—We Need Your Help!

These 55 sled dogs are facing a dire situation as the mushing kennel is closing down. We are working with Baladi Sled Dog Rescue and we are their only hope. We can't take them unless we secure places for them to go.

These dogs have been living on heavy, short chains most of their life. If we don't find adopters or fosters by the close, these resilient dogs are at risk of being sent to another mushing kennel where they'll be chained up for the rest of their lives or face an even worse fate.

Expected Arrival: Mid to Late March.
