Raye's Story
Meet Raye!

1 year
45 lbs
Male neutered

Raye is a big-hearted goofball with endless love (and energy) to give! This handsome boy is potty trained and crate trained, though he’s still working on “counter training” — his nose sometimes leads him on snack-finding adventures across the kitchen counters.

Raye is great with kids and dogs, especially those closer to his size who can keep up with his playful antics. He’s a big, happy boy who sometimes forgets how large he is — if there’s an open lap, he’s convinced it’s his! He’s a little too enthusiastic with tiny dogs and curious about cats — he’ll chase them thinking they’re playmates, but he doesn’t mean any harm.

This energetic pup loves to run, play, and explore, but he’ll also relax in his crate or lounge outside in his favorite patio chair. Inside, he’s still learning how to settle down, though a good chew toy (or a held pork chomp from his foster mom) helps him relax.

Raye is smart, treat-motivated, and goofy as hell — the kind of dog who keeps you laughing daily. He listens to country music at night, avoids the scary wooden stairs, and has a nose so good his foster family jokes he’d make an excellent narcotics dog (especially when the kids sneak snacks on the couch).

Despite his size and silliness, Raye doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He’s sweet, affectionate, brave, and full of heart — the kind of dog who will love his family with everything he’s got.

If you’re looking for a loyal, hilarious, and endlessly loving companion, Raye is your guy.

Interested in adopting?
