Raya's Story
Raya, Pitbull mix, 2 yrs., 42 lbs., Raya, a gentle and loving Pit Bull cross was that suffering from a gunshot wound. She was in pain, but her spirit shone through from the very beginning. Despite the trauma she endured, Raya greeted us with hope in her eyes and a wag of her tail, showing us she wanted to fight for her life. It was determined that her leg had to be amputated. Through it all, Raya’s sweet nature shines—she loves to see people and enjoys short walks, always eager for affection and encouragement. We are looking for a loving home that can offer her patience, understanding, and the chance to thrive as a tripod dog.
