Raya (Courtesy post)'s Story

Raya is in the 5-7 year old range (as of July, 2026). She is friendly, good with older kids, other dogs, house-broken, crate and leash trained, vaccinated and spayed. She is an indoor-outdoor dog and loves air conditioning, belly rubs and bacon treats. She loves to ride in vehicles, golf carts and boats and is fun-loving. When excited, she'll give a big grin ear to ear. Raya was rescued from a shelter 3 years ago but needs to be rehomed now because she has a strong prey drive and goes after cats and small animals (not small dogs though). Raya is a medium size dog, mixed breed-suspected to be Black Mouth Cur and/or Shepherd/Lab mix. <br/><br/>Raya is still in her home in Bracey, VA, NOT AT OUR SHELTER. We are posting this as a courtesy so her current owners can find her a new home without cats. They will give the adopters her crate and bed. For info about her or to set up a meet and greet, call her owners at 434.594.4293
