Ray's Story
Ray is a 65-pound sweetheart! He’s about 4 years old and likely a pittie/lab mix. Ray was confiscated from his home in Houston and narrowly made it out of a high-intake shelter. Despite being terrified in that environment, he remained gentle and kind with both people and dogs, which says everything about his character.

In foster care, Ray has truly blossomed. He’s a quiet, easygoing boy who loves people, treats, and a good routine. He’s non-reactive with other dogs, appears housetrained, and is basically a big, sensitive cuddle bug.

Ray may not be the most confident dog, but he makes up for it with endless love and loyalty. Give him a little patience and stability, and he’ll give you his whole heart (plus plenty of soulful looks and snuggles).

If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion who’s past the puppy chaos but full of life and affection, Ray is your guy.

Ray is in foster in Fort Collins, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. *

You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/ray

You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
