Ravenna Catahoula Leopard Dog & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Rochester, NY

You must be 25 yrs of age or older to adopt through us. We are in the Rochester NY area and adopt dogs out to local residents.

Ravenna was born on 6/27/20 and was found with litter-mates at bottom of ravine around 24 hrs old and abandoned. She is (best guess) a catahoula leopard hound mix with pit. She has amazing blue eyes, a mickey mouse silhouette on her nose and color change makes it look like she is wearing pants. Looks and smarts, an unbeatable combination.
Ravenna is a smart, potty and crate trained sweetie who gets plenty of chew toys and treats so when visitors come she won't try your shoelaces and toes. She knows how to climb stairs and the doggy door to go outside potty.
She loves to play with other pups and also self entertains. She is great with kids of all ages. She has a great appetite and is very treat motivated. She also has been around a cat and is fine with her. Overall an amazing dog who already sleeps the night through, is gentle and loves to cuddle. She is not yet altered, but will be spayed around 12 wks of age. She can go to her furever home sooner under a special contract with the adoption taking place after her vet care completed. Due to believing she has pit in her any adopter must own their own home in the Rochester NY area (within 1/2 hr of city) and have a fenced in yard for her to play in. Due to breed restrictions we will not adopt out to anyone renting. All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.

Adoption fees:
Puppy to 1 yr of age: $350 to $400
1 yr to 6 yrs of age: $250 -$400
6 yrs to 8 yrs of age: $200 -350
Over 9 yrs of age: Adoption fee varies
*NOTE* Purebreds and Designer breeds, regardless of age are $325 to $400
